The location was super convenient, just a short walk to the main square but still quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The second room we moved to was bright and spacious. The rooftop terrace had a great view. Sarah, the owner, was amazing and spoke EXCELLENT English. the whole place was tranquil and the best I've stayed in!

My stay at Kaza Muta was wonderful. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the center and yet quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and always available to help. I loved the common spaces, especially the kitchen and terrace where I could meet other guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
That the hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent, but it wasn't a major issue for me. I highly recommend Kaza Muta for a great stay in San Cristobal de las Casas.

First of all, the value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room was absolutely amazing, with cute little touches that made it a pleasure to stay. The location was perfect, close to the main street but still quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The staff, especially Sarah the owner, were fantastic - accommodating, informative, kind.
When it comes to breakfast items, I would suggest having more seating opportunities for eating. While the kitchen had a table, the one in the living room didn't look usable for dining purposes.
